  • an MAO inhibitor such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), tranylcypromine (Parnate), phenelzine (Nardil), or selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam);
  • caffeine, a diet medicine, or a decongestant; or
  • aminophylline (Truphylline), theophylline (Elixophyllin, Theo-24, Uniphyl), and others.
